What are Chinese folks buying? That is, after all, the growth market for cars.

It's not beautiful, but it's not that bad either. The top image actually looks ok. It's the rear view that doesn't look great. But then again, if we all bought cars based on their looks, few of us would own BMWs, although some of the modified ones I've seen pictured on this forum are quite sharp looking, particularly the sedans, which benefit most from the enhancements. IMO, the coupes look decent anyway, but then most folks don't have a coupe.

Keep in mind, you will not even be able to get the F32 M3 coupe and F33 M3 convertible in the US until early in 2015 anyway. So, it is still possible that the M3/M4 Gran Coupe would really only trail the other body styles by a few months.

So, SCOTT, 3 series Gran Coupe - would it use the same long wheel base as the 3 series Gran Turismo (and Chinese LWB 3 sedan)?

Why would anyone buy that thing. BMW already has the 5 series Gran Tourismo and it is awfull looking. My dealer has one in his showroom and it's been there for well over a year. He cut the price by $11,000 and still can't sell it.

Other than looking ugly the Gran Tourismo style has no function. People who want more space will buy an X3 or X5.

Haha, and Scott said that it would look nothing like the hideous POS that is the 5GT. Thanks for fully turning me away from the next M3. Make the sedan and redeem yourself.
