i'm sure there has been some f30 that have been in some bad accidents not worth fixing... and i'm guessing those cars are sent to used auto parts recyclers... if anybody knows any good company let me know so i can look them up and see whats in the inventory, might find the part I want.

the part i'm looking for is the shifter, with the leather base, the parts guy at BMW told me to try to find a f30 in a car accident and buy that part instead of getting it new, which is about 1200$, when I can probably get it used for 200$

For that matter, I'd like the Xenons, calipers and rotors but I doubt it'll be that simple to locate

Try calling their insurance and follow the trail. I had a car in a total loss recently. Insurance takes possession of the car and sells it at auction I think. Anybody could buy the car basically. So I would go to the auction place and see who buys and then contact them. I know sounds like a chore.

For this, you have to find one that's actually been totaled THEN find the insurance company, THEN find the auction

Someone is selling their brakes for pretty cheap on this forum. I'm about to sell mine too.

there is a online store that sells new BMW parts thats been advertised here before... if anybody remembers it, please post it.. i cant seem to remember it
