Hi guys
My front right tire is wearing more on the outside edge so obviously I start thinking about doing an alignment. I have 20,500 miles on the OEM S001 Potenzas. When I called to make an appointment the shop which is a well known performance shop said that doing an alignment with tires (I'm at about 20 - 25% tread it seems) this worn would be a waste and that I should just wait to get new tires and do alignment then. They said the new tires with sit different and have an effect on alignment. Do new tires really affect the geometry of the suspension so much so it wouldn't be worth it to do an alignment now to try and maximize treadlife? I didn't know that I have never had a car realigned due to getting new tires
