[GAV-F30]

So last Tuesday spoke to Mark at Remus 03-95116859 and placed an order

was told it will come from Austria to my surprise it arrived today costing

$880.

Dimension's are width 45cm depth 24cm smaller and lighter than

the so called BMW Performance Muffler.

I'm planning to get it on the car saturday and will post a video

Nice, you finally got it. Can't wait to hear a comparison in exhaust note, video plz. What! $880, now that's a bargain.

The finish on the Remus even looks better than the BMW one - Right down to the laser etched logo. The BMW performance exhaust looks exactly like the stock exhaust before installation.

Remus make nice kit, I had their axle-back fitted to my E82 135i. Sounded fantastic with the catless DP's I had fitted, but a bit too muted prior to that.

Very keen to see video. Am shopping around for an exhaust at the moment. I really like Remus' cf tips, do you know if that is an option or do you have to buy them separately and fit yourself.

I couldn't wait till Saturday so after work today got the Remus installed, Sound is very nice with lot's of crackle & pop when I'm revving.

Video will be done on Saturday letting more carbon build the sound will get deeper.

Have you ever watched youtube videos of car & motorbike exhaust's and some sound quality are great and some are bad.

Well I got my Sony Action camera and also my Panasonic LX7 advanced compact camera had it 1ft away from muffler and put it in

laptop and it sounds shit then 3ft away shit.

Where should I place the camera for it to sound great on the comp.

I find Remus to be a bit too muffled for my liking. It was the same when I had one fitted to my last BMW, I preferred the crispness and rasp of the BMW Performance exhaust. Horses for courses naturally.
