James Squire does have a point.
The sidewall should atleast be the same ratio as the stock if you want to keep your speedometer correct. You could've ran lower width tires for the stretch look instead of lowering your side profile. but then again, looks always triumphs correct speedometer if you ask me =) |

nice..msia represent! i'd say going that low the first time might be difficult with the speed humps scattered everywhere in kl..I too am interested in the standard specs for 328i in msia, could you elaborate please? in terms of difference in speedometer, it doesnt affect safety features of the car, and some oem wheels are nicer than others but i'm loving these BC racings you have so, different strokes for diff folks i guess..

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp It will allow you to see how changing the specs of the tires will affect the speedometer etc. It is also an easy way to check sidewall height. My only issue with the wheel sizes the OP used is I love those BC wheels and there is not enough sidewall height to protect them in case of a harsh bump or pothole. I would have recommended a slightly larger ratio tire to give you more protection and to minimize the overall diameter difference between stock and enlarged. |
