Regular (Non RFT) tires

There are a lot more choices in tires if I pick regular tires over RFT, especially when looking at 19" in wide sizes. My problem is that I am on the road (long distance) too often and at odd hours to chance getting a flat and wait by the side of the road.

For all of you who are running regular rubber, what is your fall back option if you get a flat? The BMW mobility kit? Small spare? A cell phone? Or just praying it doesn't happen?

I will say from the onset that the small spare wouldn't work for me because of trunk space issues ( I carry kit).

And yes, I am one of the sorry SOB who seems to have been designated as the official "adopt a nail" poster boy. So if past experience is to be repeated, in my case it's not if, but when.

Thanks

I make sure i dont drive in hazardous road conditions lol. Maybe i should buy fix a flat but the only times ive had a flat was when the rubber just ran out on the inside. Now i rotate and flip like a mother.

I bought a tire plug kit for 10 bucks and a electric air pump with fix a flat thing that comes with it for 25 bucks off amazon. So if anything does happen i'll be somewhat prepared.

Didn't think of the plugs even though I carry the stop and go plugs on my bike.
Good tip, thanks
