Why more burbles in Sport?

Seems like a silly question....but WHY exactly does my car (MPPK) burble so much more in Sport mode when I'm decelerating than the other modes. Of note....all comparisons are done at the same speed and at the same rpm. If Sport really puts out the same hp as the other modes, what's with the increased burbles? Surely changed shift points can't cause it since my comparisons were done at the same speed at the same rpm.

Heck, I don't even know exactly causes the burbles in the first place (but I like them!)...

I would guess it's the increased throttle response of the sport mode?

I have Borla S-type catback exhaust and both exhausts are open 100% of the time. Way more burbles in Sport. So it's the increased throttle sensitivity that causes more burbles? Why? What's the science behind it?

Burbles are created from manipulating the fuel supply to the cylinders differently.

Thanks...

So, if the fuel supply to the cylinders is "different" in Sport, why doesn't it produce more power in that mode? Or does it?

Different amount of fuel = Different hp?

I thought I read somewhere in sport mode it kept the turbo spooled up more by dumping some fuel? Maybe that causes it? Or was that only on the F80
