When should I replace my tires?

I have the original tires on my car, with about 34k miles on them. I drive about 80 miles a day on the highway.

I usually change them when profile is below 4 Millimeter/0.15 inches.
The less profile, the higher the risk for aqua planning.

the tread is what you look for. most tires have indicators on them. if your not familiar ask your local tire center to point it out to you.

if you live in a sunny dry climate you can drive till they are pretty low. the tread on the tires help with traction basically.

if your in rainy or snowy area's then make sure you replace them early.
