I managed to jump in on ripple early enough to get a big rise. But so far have missed the boat with Tron.

What are people doing about tax? Are there any ways of getting the cash into an ISA?

It is pretty consistent since it started rising going up then correcting then going up more. Tax is a bitch with new trump rules.

Have a look at XDN it has potential to go up quite a lot and it's market cap is currently well below a billon, so room for major growth.

I'm not an expert but from reading up a bit recently, if you want to make an awful lot of money without risking quite a lot of a cash initially you need to find one with a low market cap currently that has the potential to grow a lot over the next year or so. A coin with potential and the right people behind it but in very early stages. This is more like investing in xrp 12 months ago. 1k of xrp 12 months ago would be worth Over 300k now. 1k of xrp now may be worth 10k in a years time if your lucky. To make 300k on xrp this year you'll probably need to risk something like 30k minimum, bit risky.

Tron a month ago was a great opportunity, today it's potentially a good opportunity but we've missed out on a lot of the gains already now it's market cap is up over 10 billion.
Work out which coin with a current market cap of 100-500million that has potential to increase to 50billion or more and invest just 1k and you'll make a 6 figure profit... potentially

Anyone have any good tips?

Hooded, I luckily put in to XRP when it was around 0.17p. I also spread a bit with BTC when it was @ £3600. As I have previously mentioned, both have given me an excellent return.

I chose to sell all my BTC the other night as I dont think it has a lot more growth but I put the profit from that to buy more XRP (when it dropped to £1.60) and the other half in to ETH (sat with just over 2.5 ETH and 18,000 XRP). Still not put any more of my original capital in to it and am using the profit from BTC. We will see if it works or if I'll regret selling the BTC!

As some have said, I think chucking a spread across the penny coins could work well. £1000 spread across ten sub $ coins could see one of them being the sperm that gets through

What sites do you use for your research? I am just floating around Google which isn't always the best.

Why XDN? Is it one you just found while wondering around the net? I have my eye on ETN which is <1billion cap at the moment.

What platform/app/website are you using to trade? Are you keeping them in a separate wallet?

I'm new to all this, i've only used eToro, which is ok. However, I fancied buying some of the smaller coins such as XDN. To buy this, i have to purchase some Bitcoin first yeah?

Is there a way of buying Bitcoin without uploading a copy of my passport/driving license? I don't really trust these companies to keep my photo ID safe and don't want to be an identity fraud victim.

I've got the same issue as you, wary of uploading information to potentially suspect sites. Plus prefer the convenience of using fiat currency.

Fully appreciate that that is cutting me out of the potentially life changing gains.

Bitcoin ATM?

I managed to get an account on binance just before they stopped taking new customers, just need to find somewhere decent to buy some ETH now to use to buy Tron on binance. Bitstamp is taking forever to verify my documents and coinbase just won't accept my drivers licence no matter how many times I tried taking the damn photo of it. Why they won't accept scanned documents like everyone else I'll never know

I'd never even heard of a bitcoin ATM before. There aren't any near me though.

Have a look on here
https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/...rification-id/

I would certainly thoroughly research any exchange you use from that list before parting with any money though.

Major delays on BTC blockchain at moment which are very frustrating. Made mistake of buying some in prep to buy some ETN now found out delays of up to 72 hours. That's rubbish.
