Question Need Help - Identify This Part

Hi all,

I was adjusting some stuff that required me to pull off the front bumper and I noticed this thing just free hanging. What is it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you E90Fleet. I changed my bumper from Sport Line to M-Sport. I guess the shop thought that it wasn't that important to properly mount this sensor. They also didn't think that putting back all the screws and bolts weren't that important either; about 10 are missing.

Better let them know. Make them make it right. Mistakes happen, but leaving 10 fasteners out is more than a mistake.

No point. I know it wasn't a mistake; just laziness. All the shops are the same. They're just a bunch of folks that cut corners unless you're "buddy buddy" with them.

So you're going to be too lazy to call them on it?!

Eh... Maybe my time is worth more than taking the time to call them back as the install was done over a year ago... Or maybe you're right about I'm too lazy to call them out on it... after all, I went to them because I was too busy to do it myself. It's not a big deal as I can easily put the fasteners on myself. Call it lazy or call it indifference. : But now that I have more time to work on the car myself, I can do it myself; which I much prefer over a kid that they put to work just because he had nothing better to do but hang out at the shop.

Hi, I changed my bumper from Sport Line to M-Sport and the external/ambient temp sensor are not able to put back into the triangular recess in the left side deflector lip AKA front fender liner extension. it does not have a hole for it. can i know where is the location of the sensor at M-Sport model?
