That said, OZ's make a good track wheel due to price. I'm personally not a fan of their look on a bmw, but who cares. Cheap to replace annually.

Low pressure cast (e.g. OEM BMW, non-forged OZ/Avant Garde/BBS, etc.) can be pretty good. But flow formed are typically lighter and stronger. Kinda the middle ground between cast and forged.

The High Light Technology (HLT) process used in the manufacturing of select O.Z. Racing wheels uses rollers to compress and elongate the material along the barrel of a low-pressure cast aluminum wheel to obtain the desired profile. This process, which is directly derived from O.Z.'s experience in F1, produces wheels that are extremely light and strong. The flow forming process and the HLT technologies combine to create mechanical characteristics similar to those of a forged wheel. This permits a dramatic reduction in wheel weight while enhancing structural rigidity vs. a standard cast wheel. |

Yes, to be clear, OZ actually makes wheels by all 3 processes... forged, flow formed & cast (both gravity and low pressure)

the most reasonably priced fully (mold/form) forged are from BC Forged, Advan Racing's RS-DF, RZ-DF, GT and a several styles from Rays/Volk Racing. these offerings start at $750 per wheel, though. http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/products/choose.php?lang=en i have Volk Racing G25 on Bridgestone Potenza S-04, 18x8 +45(w/5mm spacer) 245/40 front and 18x9 +50 255/40 rear. i suggest Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires instead since they are better and much lighter than the S-04's. not sure how much larger m-performance brakes are but there is ample room around my M-Sport Brakes Last edited by alohasurftoad; 04-27-2017 at 02:21 AM.. |

370mm? i don't think it will fit. that's 15mm more radius. you may have to increase to 19" wheels

i tried to get a tape ruler back there but it was too difficult. there is a lot of room with m-sport calipers however if you increased the rotor radius 15mm it (assuming m-perf and m-sport calipers are the same size) would be real close. |

if it fits under these 18" bmw wheels, i suspect it would fit under the volks or most any other 18" aftermarket wheel. (except some 18" enkei i've read about that rubbed the m-sport caliper)
