BBK Combo
Thinking of installing BBK on my F30 335.
Looking at AP Racing CP9669/CP9450 6/4 calipers and 370/355 or 355/345 rotor. Will 370 disc clear oem stock wheel? I know the M-Performance brake kit is 370mm. I guess only diffrent is thr caliper height and thickness? |

I think the barrel clearance also depends on the offset in the wheel, meaning you might have lesser barrel clearance closer to the spokes where as the barrel clearance might be higher on the inside edge of the wheel.
You must be able to download the caliper fitment template, print it to scale (1:1) and put that inside your wheel to see if it clears. Most BBK manufacturers recommend at least 3 mm clearance both at the spokes and at the barrel, but 2 mm should be fine. |

Oo ok. Yap, diameter wise should be ok. Only depends on thinness of caliper n offset of wheels.
Anyway, when it fits, are these combo correct and fit the oem bias setting? 370/355 or 355/345? MPB is 370/345, and Brembo GT is 380/355. |

One of the options in Brembo GT is 380/345, which I had on my F30 335i. I'm selling that BBK _here_ btw - in case you are interested.
I think brembo claims that 380/345 with their street pads maintains stock bias and works well with ABS and traction control. I've tried different pad compounds, different front and back. My setup was more front biased than stock but overall felt pretty solid. With a BBK, I think the limiting factor becomes the tire and the tires gives up long before you reach the limits of the caliper/rotor/pads. I think maintaining exact stock bias is very difficult. In most cases with aftermarket wheels being required for BBK, people choose different wheel widths, different offsets, different tire widths, slightly different tire pressures, slightly different rolling diameters (which drives traction control crazy), staggered vs. non-staggered setup and all of this in conjunction with weight transfer during braking makes it makes it, IMHO, almost impossible to maintain the same tire grip distribution front to back. I personally don't think it is super important to maintain the exact stock brake bias, a little more to the front should be okay. You want to make sure you don't push the bias backwards too much, otherwise you can fishtail during high speed hard braking. |

I'm running Brembo
Fronts are 6 piston 380mm Rears are 345mm Running 20s, I think 19s might be too tight.

That's one hell of a deal man, I would raise the price asap. They should be at 5K. I've bought and sold many sets and used that's the going rate.
