F30 ActiveHybrid3 Cruising in NJ

I thought some of you might want to see the ActiveHybrid3 model out on the highway...

You see some subtle differences and really couldn't hear the car at all (tires / engine / exhaust) seems very quiet...

Hope you guys like it, anyone thinking of ordering one?

PS. Sorry for the poor quality pics (cellphone, and while driving)

Kudos to who can tell me what part of Rt17 I am on while taking this...

That badge on the c-pillar is just awful. It reminds me of the 90's when BMW and MB felt it necessary to glue V12 badges on the 750i and S600.

Nice catch! Thanks for the pics! I plan on placing an order for one as soon as the residuals come out, which is expected on Monday.

Nice. Available for lease? I wonder if we still get the eco credit which the X5 Diesel seems to still offer. Anyone have pricing info like estimates?

Good flippin' question! Currently, BMW offers a $7,500 eco credit rebate on the ActiveHybrid 750Li. But that's probably because it doesn't sell very good.

I really hope and wonder now if they'll offer an Eco Credit on the ActiveHybrid 3!

Yea, I would definitely be interested since I have the $1,000 drive for USA rebate, and plus eco credit (I know some people say we can't combine the two) but I think dealers are doing regardless, and also discounting the cars to 7-9% from MSRP, I think we have a good deal on a lease here with residuals at 65-70%~ estimated...

What do you think...

Also sign up for that Drive for USA program if you havent already... I signed up for two lol... Just for the drive, but I will only get $1k rebate from it.

I am looking at the F30 M sport either 328i or 335i but still on the fence if I want to save the money or slurge on 335i...

My lease is up next July...

Don't mind me. I know my grammar/spelling/typing is horrible. Just putting that out there before someone else points that out. Thanks for reading!

The lease payment is going to be very good because the residual will likely be 69-71% on a 36 month lease and as high as 77% for a 24 month lease.

Wish I had the Drive for USA coupon! The closest event to me is 800 miles away so it just isn't worth it. After fuel and hotel, I'd only save $600 and that's not worth 2 days time and 12 hours driving.

Think bigger: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...7&postcount=10

And we still don't know if there will be an Eco Credit and how much that will be. Could be thousands (or none at all).

See! You just reminded me.

Im in an entrepreneurship program at Rutgers now, would that count since I will graduate in December?

So would I be able to get that $500-1000 discount? on top of my $500 BMW CCA, $1000 Drive USA program, and maybe $500-1000 loyalty and $500-1000 BMW FS (lease?)... Thats a whopping $3000 or 4500 discount?

Plus minus the discount from the dealer... 7-9% off MSRP ~

This sounds too good to be true, if possible.

Also would the discounts apply to MSRP? or final negotiated price? (at least the dealership will play it that way to make you believe, make sure to get the final closing price / out the door price, then hit them with the rebates/discounts - this should work if not then go to the next dealer) The rebates and discounts are funded by other companies and programs, its not taking anything away from the dealers, they just don't want to deal with the paper work, which isn't much sometimes or feel that they might get jipped if the coupon doesnt go through.

I use to work for one and from what I seen, thats behind the scenes of how it works sometimes. Find a good CA who will work with you, I have my choice of dealer and CA to go to...

Not too good to be true.

Yes, you could get $500 from BMW CCA, $1000 off for graduating soon, $1000 for Drive USA event, and $1000 BMW loyalty, for a total of an extra $3,500 off the total. And that's $3,500 additional off the price you negotiate with your dealer! If you negotiate $1,000 over invoice, that will be about $7,900 off MSRP total.

And if BMW launches an Eco Credit and/or Option Allowance with the residuals for the AH3 on Monday, then you could get that off, too, and easily top over $10K off MSRP.

Damn. Dealers are not looking to have much incentives on the F30 cars. The CA I talked to has no clue on the Active3 numbers or eco credits.

Right now it's whatever credits/discount coupons you have would apply, but they are hesitant to discount F30 cars just yet.

The CA knew I wasnt going to buy soon so he kind of said when you are ready come in and we can deal with all those discounts, lease pull aheads, and coupons you have....

12 month early to jump the gun lol

PS. I like how I clicked "Preferred contact method, EMAIL" and the guy calls me during working hours?

You're dealing with a poor dealer. Call another.

When I decide to submit an offer, I will be faxing ALL of the dealers in my region. That way I don't bother with calling them one by one. Whoever wants to accept my offer earns my business. Not going to deal with all the crap most dealers give. I lay my offer on the table and only if they accept it will we talk.
