BMW NA Launch Event: 428i in Estoril Blue and Black, and Walkaround Video Compilation
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW NA Launch: 428i in Estoril Blue and Black, With Walkaround Video Compilation And here is our last set of 4 Series photos from the BMW NA launch drive event for the 4 Series Coupe, together with a walkaround video feature. These are of an Estoril Blue 428i M Sport and a black 428i Sport Line (the only non M Sport model at the event). The black 428i was neither Jet Black nor Black Sapphire Metallic, but somewhat resembled Citrin Black Individual paint, with an orange flake. The interior was optioned with leatherette ("SensaTec") seats with red highlights and pearl glass chrome trim finishers. If you didn't catch them earlier, here were our other photo sets: Mineral Gray 428i M Sport Glacier Silver 4 Series M Sport Melbourne Red 4 Series M Sport Alpine White 435i M Sport (with Video) Walkaround Feature Video |

Looking at the pics of the black 4 series, the rear of the car seems so tight like a 3 series GT. It seems like it should be longer and stretched out a bit or maybe i just need to see it in person...cause it looks like a suv lol

M Sport Brakes are separate option from M Sport Package in the U.S.

This launch event has convinced me that I NEED these blue brakes. Just added them to my order! haha It's only about $250 once you factor in the residual. Worth it.

My current ride is black, but I would prefer some kind of metallic black like this modified citrin.

Looking at both EB and Black wheels, it looks like M Sport brakes do not come with bigger rotors with perforation either. So we are just paying additional $650 for blue calipers with ///M logo on it? Seeing how the M Performance parts are not going to be available until February, multiple color choice is not going to be an option either. Blue calipers just do not match with mineral grey...

I don't like the black one at all. Maybe because it's not an M-sport. I would never have guessed that it was an individual colour if someone had not brought it up..
I didn't know that leatherette looked identical to dakota leather! Pretty cool. |

Wtf i've been waiting for ages for a black msport to show...
Btw it looks like a mere black sapphire to me. Would an individual car feature leatherette ??? Last edited by Saphirschwarz; 09-18-2013 at 04:53 PM.. Reason: Forgot st |
