BMW assist and non run flat tyres

So I am just about to buy some non run flat winter tyres. Then it occurred to me what happens if I get a puncture and can't fix that with tyre weld.
if I call bmw assistance with non recommended tyres to get me me to a garage will they charge me or worse still not pick me up.
anyone any experience of this?
car 6 months old.

I can't see how they can refuse, as there are BMW models available without runflats. You could always purchase non runflat tyres that are still BMW approved if you are that concerned.

Surely a quick call to the dealer or BMW assist will answer the question?

Thats a very simple and sensible idea - like all the best ideas.

I'll let you know what I find out.

Thanks
