I know this thread is pretty old, but i did this to my 2013 BMW 328xi. This is a MUST for anyone doesn't have it enabled from the factory. Shifts are super quick!

I'm sorry to bring alive an old forum, but is there anyone that can code my 2016 320i in Phoenix Arizona? If not, I ordered a ENET cable and just need ESYS please I have a 320i FBO running JB4 Map 3 and would love to take advantage of the SAT option!

I'm adding to this thread as well

Is there any way to tell if I have SAT without looking at the code? I don't have paddles but I have a Sports + Mode. Does the Sports + mode mean sports automatic?

Decode your VIN, by inserting the last 7 digits at www.bmwvin.com.
If you find 2TB option code, then you have SAT (Sport Automatic).
If you find 205 option code, then you don't have SAT and you have to code it.
Sport+ mode doesn't necessarily mean that you have SAT.

Thank you! S205 it is. Let the coding begin!

Late to the party here obviously. I am in the Palm Springs area and I think I need this done to my 2013 320i. Shifts are horrible at slow speeds especially with the AC on. Wondering if this helps at all. i definitely have the S205A

One other question is if this does anything to the warranty as I am on a CPO warranty.

Thanks!

Out of interest, would it be possible to retrofit the SAT shifter? I assume theyre wired same/similarly so after getting a replacement unit it shouldn't be as hard as getting paddles.
