so here's mine lame that being said i have a friend who rebadged his e46 with "332i" because that was his HP output after the S54 engine swap and modifications THAT i approve of because it's not an existing model number and it had significance

At the end of the day you're still badging the car as something it is not, so still uncool.
If it's really just aethestics like you say and not some weird insecurity then just debadge or come up with something more creative that doesn't involve pretending the car is something it is not. |

It's not your fault you want to do this. It's the emf in your car.

Do whatever you feel... and fcuk who disapproves. The cyber bullying in this and other threads, say nothing of the collective stick up the ass-ed-ness over a 'badge' is truly something to behold.

Well, you ask for opinions and you get that. Common sense is a thing of the past right?

I think it's all in good fun. He asked. Certainly anyone who can legally own a car is technically an adult and can do what he pleases within the limits of the law. There are no badge police, even if we don't agree, we aren't going to lose sleep over it.

They will be rebadging the North American 328i as 330i for 2017 MY, starting with the GT and Touring LCI, so probably not that big of a deal.
Like most people that have responded in this thread I personally wouldn't do it. Doesnt seem tasteful for this kind of vehicle. |

It is a deal because his car ISN'T a 330. When he goes to the dealership or parts shop and they ask him what model car he has what is he going to tell them?
