Or maybe all odd. How about a 333i

It's so odd it's even.

I only buy cars that are divisible by 5.

I'll never be caught dead in a 911.

Thing is that I have never liked the uneven numbers BMW use on the first models. I think we all can agree that there is not much difference between the power in an 328i and 330i.
I even got a JB4 to compensate for the 7hp difference

Reason I want 330i emblems is that I think it looks more aesthetically pleasing.
It's like leaving the volume on a stereo on 28 instead of 30

What do you think. Is this as bad as putting an //M-badge?

Thank you!
you asked for opinion
so here's mine

lame

that being said
i have a friend who rebadged his e46 with "332i" because that was his HP output after the S54 engine swap and modifications
THAT i approve of
because it's not an existing model number and it had significance

At the end of the day you're still badging the car as something it is not, so still uncool.

If it's really just aethestics like you say and not some weird insecurity then just debadge or come up with something more creative that doesn't involve pretending the car is something it is not.

It's not your fault you want to do this. It's the emf in your car.

why not re-badge it 320i? After all, your engine is closer in similarity to the one under the hood of that car + it's divisible by 5..

Do whatever you feel... and fcuk who disapproves. The cyber bullying in this and other threads, say nothing of the collective stick up the ass-ed-ness over a 'badge' is truly something to behold.

Well, you ask for opinions and you get that. Common sense is a thing of the past right?

I think it's all in good fun. He asked. Certainly anyone who can legally own a car is technically an adult and can do what he pleases within the limits of the law. There are no badge police, even if we don't agree, we aren't going to lose sleep over it.

As for "common sense" jgoens... it dictates that just because one can do something, that doesn't mean one should do something. Some of it is clearly done in fun... some others not so much, and clearly cross the line into insults. But I dunno, I'm new... maybe it's just me and this is what passes for 'fun' on the forum.

Well, it's only got a 2.0 engine. So wouldn't a BMW purist want to change it to a 320?

They will be rebadging the North American 328i as 330i for 2017 MY, starting with the GT and Touring LCI, so probably not that big of a deal.

Like most people that have responded in this thread I personally wouldn't do it. Doesnt seem tasteful for this kind of vehicle.

It is a deal because his car ISN'T a 330. When he goes to the dealership or parts shop and they ask him what model car he has what is he going to tell them?
