Adding whiskers to base line f30?

I would like to add the chrome whisker from Moder or Luxury line to my base f30.

1) Does anyone know if it is possible? Does it need special lower grills?

2) Also where can I get the part? I kinda like it, even thou some of you guys don't.

3) Anyone want to get rid of theirs?

Thanks for the link. Can you verify if these parts would suffice?

Part: #5, #4 for each side. No screws needed as it's clip-on. I assume I have part #6 which doesn't have clips.

The bumper cover is different for the base F30 when compared with a lines car. In order to fit the grills from a lines car u'll have to mod the bumper cover.

It's different, someone has done it before & they had to mod the bumper. Search for previous threads....

I searched the forums and seems like the mod is needed only when going to sport look.

Base -> Luxury/Modern: Is same bumper but different trim & grills.

I am going to buy the parts which are < $100 and tryit myself.

Any updates?
Read and was told that it can be installed. You'll just have to remove the whole fog cover on the base on each side and insert the sport fog cover

this topic applies to converting the base line into sport or luxury line. But of course you can switch whatever you like.

I had a base line bumper and ordered parts 7 and 3 to get the sport line look.

Ok, but how do I change the luxury line covers/whiskers to sport line or base line??

I can't help you on a step by step instruction as I started from the base line, but it is not that difficult. all parts are mounted with clips.
But I see you also have put this question in topic http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=869292.
