Welcome to the forum, glad you found the good and bad decisions made by members helpful. To be honest that's what it all about.
That delivery date is very good in my view, some on here have ordered and waited month after month after month. To order now and get it before the festivities is a right result. Well done.

Welcome to the forum, good spec and as purplett mentioned seems like a normal amount of time to wait, took about 8 weeks for mine. Is it your first brand new Be'em? It was for me, always had second hand ones before (although my previous E92 was only a 6 month old ex demo car) but it is great to finally get a brand new one!

Heard from the dealer on Thursday that the car is built! Hurrah!
Although they still think it'll be 3 weeks before I actually get it! Also, reading every review on here is making me think I should have pushed my budget and got a 330 or at least a 325....hope I'm not left disappointed with my sensible 320D choice |

I just keep reminding myself of my £450per month budget for lease which needed to include 18,000miles per year. I've got a nice spec car coming so I'm sure it'll be fine. Like you say just have to stop listening to all the 335 reviews
To be fair anything will be better than my current purple Kia rio hire car : |

Ignore the engine noise comments as I did not find the engine noisy or unrefined. and TBH at the end of the day the 320d is still a very fast car for the mpg you can get from it and will be much quicker than 80% of the diesels from other manufactures on the roads anyway. I can guarantee with the spec you have listed you will love the car you have ordered. I have a 330d and was considering getting a 320d as my mileage is around 70ml a day and i only get 36.8mpg from my 330d. |

I have an E90 320d. The engine is reasonably refined and really seems to benefit from an occasional treat of that posh super diesel. This seems to make it run far quieter and smoother. Not that it is massively loud anyway.
I've been putting it in every 4th tank of late and the car is smoother and quieter for it. It even seems slightly more nippy and economical.

Most of the comments about the 320d are nitpicking. Compared to 98% of the cars on the road it's a beauty.
I really like the fact it turns into a beast when Sport mode is selected. |

Got the nod that the car is at the port ready for export, delivery was at week 50, now slipped to week 51... How long does the dealer take to prep the car once its with them?
the wait is killing me! haha! |

Nice car.
The 320d engine is very good. I have a 2012 320d atm. (335d on order). It can be a little thrashy at the top end, but keep it in the sweet spot and its a nice motor. It will be very nice with the 8sp sport auto. Enjoy! |

It pulls really well in-gear, particularly between 30mph and 60mph and the economy is great. I've loved mine. |
