Since getting my car, I've noticed funky things with the idrive lcd display. I have it set as a split screen. Regardless what I have the main screen set to, whenever I either stop the car (turn off and back on) or put it in reverse, then back in drive, the display will not return to the setting it was previously on. It seems to go back one page. Also, the split screen information randomly turns off occasionally so that the screen is still split, but the right hand information is completely gone. This is quite annoying. Have others experienced this?

which split screen info are you using? If it the nav map or Connected Widgets, there may be a delay in the 3g signal that causes it to momentarily disappear.

Nope, it has nothing to do with the nav, however, it doesn't matter which split screen I use. Currently, it is set to vehicle information.

Mine doesn't do that. So sounds like it's a specific issue. No matter what screen I'm on it goes back to it
