For coding, one only needs PSdZData >= the ISTA/P version last used to program their car.

One though may want the newer PSdZData to flash new firmware on a particular ECU like KOMBI or HU_CIC.

Then there are people that code other peoples car's and want the latest to ensure whatever car they face, they are able to of code it.

And then there is no shortage of people who just have to have the latest, whether they actually need it or not.

While I have not tested it, my guess given this is both a Major Release and that the security was revamped, is that the Full PSdZData with supporting java library's and other binaries will be needed.

Hi:

I checked my VIN on the website and my car has the following:
S609A Navigation system Professional
S645A BMW US Radio
S693A Preparation BMW satellite radio
S697A Area-Code 1 for DVD
S6NHA Hands-free with USB interface
S6VAA CIC-Zusteuerung

In order to get BT steaming I should change the FA from 6NH to 6NK? Also since I'm in Canada if I add 614, 6AL and 615 I don't have to get a ghost VIN?
Currently I can only use BT with my phone and the for the music I use the Y cable adaptor.

Can somebody confirm this and send me the link for how to get the token and patch for e-sys 3.22?

Quick question and sorry if its been asked as I can't seem to find it:

I'm stuck after opening e-sys/expert mode/connect with vin I can't get the target field to populate to be able to choose F30xxx and connect. I'm pretty sure the chassis code files are somewhere in the e-sys software but am unsure of where/how to import the appropriate files.

For the f30 you select f20. Don't select the one that says "direct" at the end.

have you downloaded the complete psdzdata (around 20gb) and move them into the appropriate esysdata folder in your computer?

Think I need the newest data/program. Just got my car back from the dealership and they installed new software (BMW logo appears in driver console after shutting the car off, this is the newest software I think?) They said they had to do it because of recall "B61 36 12"... Googled it a bit and didn't find much.

Is there a way I can find out which software version my car is definitely using?

Anyway, a new download link would be appreciated.
