Quest for album artwork over BT

need your help gents,

i have 2015 3-GT and please look what i need to do here.. attached is the options i have and looks like im missing 6NR or 6NS?

i never changed or messed this part though my car rigĥt now is heavily coded.

by the way, im using S6 edge plus.

Just add it to the VO and see what happens, pretty easy to do.

I see you have the pronav (609), you need to change 6NH to 6NS, this will activate enhance BT.

You can't add 6NR (Apps), because it requires an FSC code.

Use the guide for changing your FA, you can find it in the coding forum.

simple as pie, i tried my wife iPhone 6 plus and album art shows via BT and playlist as well..

but there's no love on android lol. i have galaxy S6 edge plus

i will try via USB on connected drive

As long the artwork is embedded into file you will see it.

im a spotify user. im more on of stream music. oh well i guess ill start storing music on my android to see if album art will show over BT

With 6NS you can stream BT audio but you can't control it via iDrive. Shame you don't have 6NR as there is integration with Spotify and Amazon Music.

If your car didn't come with it then you have acquire an 6NR FSC code from a retrofit firm (bimmer retrofit) or ask your dealer.

Looks like the cost is about $415.
