Personalized Custom License Plate
I wanted some feedback for a personalized license plate, i currently have a 14 F31, M-Sport diesel, want something clever but not douchey...if thats even a word.
My thoughts so far have been N27F31 F31N27 DSLPWRD 5502MTE (550TOMT) i can't really think of anything else and i don't want it to be lame! Any ideas would be appreciated!! |

Understood, but it's only seen as clever if people understand the meaning.

whatever makes you happy is what you can do. No one will understand them at all, so you're just appeasing yourself and the officer behind you.

There was an F10 M5 parked next to me earlier today with the license plate:
HUNY BGR If you've seen the video or heard of the Honey Badger, you get it... Thought it was creative, at least different.

No issue with a plate that only another enthusiast would get. I almost got EBIIF30 myself but decided not to get one that just described the car.

What color is the car? Sometimes you can tie it in if you like the color. Did you say the custom plate would be a specific CA specialty plate type, like Yosemite, etc? That sometimes makes a difference as to how well your choice shows up on the plate. Be sure to check the appearance of those choices on the DMV Site.

"Personalized License Plate" = "Custom License Plate" As for your plate choice, it's really up to you. I recently applied for a custom plate and I put down my online alias as my first choice and a play on words as my second choice: HALSIFR BYTE ME The second one seems a little douchey, but I'm a computer guy so I find it funny. Just think of something that expresses something you like in a funny way, then people will find it clever. There's a guy at my school with the license plate 'M3 SMG2'. Of course I understand it but no one else will. Also, I couldn't help but notice you are in California. So since you are, maybe consider doing the legacy plate since they are only bringing it back this year? They are allowing you to have Black/Yellow, Yellow/Black, or Blue/Yellow plates like the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s style for any vehicle, regardless of model/year. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/legacyplates/index.htm Good luck choosing and post back your final choices when you decide!
