What More can you want!

I have been driving my F30 28i for a week now! I'm in Love with the way it smell, feels, and drives! Germans are crazy ass engineers, they have made the best sports cars with a V6 (PORSCHE) and now they have surprised me with a powerful 4 CYLINDERS!. Handling is smooth and the performance is just to die for! the look is just plain gorgeous, you have the perfect face "so aggressive" and ready for action, you have the sweet LED Tail and curvy body, never seen ppl surprised as I have seen them specially when they know it is a 3 Series, we can say that the 3 Series never looked as sexy and eye catchy as it is now.

What Porsche are you referring to with a V6? The Panamera and Cayenne are the only V6 Porsches that I can find. Just curious.

We all know what he means.

(Yes, all the other 6 cylinder Porsche engines are flat.)

I was pretty sure he was referring to the 911. I just wanted to make sure I didn't overlook anything.

I agree! Tired of all the naysayers of this forum. If you disagree with someone's post voice your opinion, but if you don't like the F30, go home...

I agree 100%

I took delivery of my car yesterday and already have 120 miles on it. It does everything so well and there's no learning curve whatsoever. The car rides, corners, steers, and pulls like you wouldn't believe for the ENTRY-level Bimmer. I've been keeping it under 4,000rpm and still have enough torque to never be left wanting more.

I need to stop rambling and go for another drive...

Love your enthusiasm and I can't wait until I receive mine. But the 3-series is no longer the entry level BMW. The 1-series has taken that label now.

Couldn't agree more. No learning curve at all. Easy to drive, easy to love

I have a confession to make, I have been a little naughty and I have not kept it under 4000 rpm a few times my mileage is 600 Miles so far. Is that ok ?

The only reason I refer to my car as "entry-level" is because of the price. My MSRP is under $40,000 due to my... sparse... optioning. Honestly though, I love how simple my car is and how it's not trying to be anything more.

Just dropped it off to be tinted, so it's going to be a long day...

He probably meant the boxer motor. I notice alot of people say v6 for the 335i as well instead of inline 6. Eh......

Very ok.

If you're looking for opinion and or suggestion, I suggest a few visits to red line or very near red line.
Take each low gear to red line with easy moderate acceleration.
Don't go full throttle to red.
Just put it in 1st and accel moderately all the way to red line, then let the engine bring the car back down to around 1500rpm, then do that in 2nd, and 3rd, etc...
Do as many gears this way as you can, but do it up to safe speeds only.

The idea is to get some full engine speed acceleration, and then engine braking to help piston rings get seated properly.
