New to the forum... saying hi. Got my 320i yesterday, just ordered BMS Stage 1. Specs: ZSP + ZMT (Jalopnick edition)

Very nice choice. I just took my 328i in for service and drove a 320i as a loaner car. I was surprised by how nicely it drove. Didn't feel underpowered at all. With the 6 speed and tune you will have a blast.

Installed the tune yesterday. Like it quite a lot. Installation was a breeze, took 15 min or so just going slowly and triple checking every connection. The car in low rpm / normal driving feels the same as before, but as soon as you push it, a lot more capable. Just pulls a lot harder. Definitely feels like a different car. No perceivable loss of drivability or any other negatives. I am saying to myself "why wouldn't everyone do this"? Worth every penny.

It is a good car and I'm very satisfied with mine. I took the 2012 and 2013 versions for a test and wasn't all that interested. Then someone at BMW NA thought that maybe if BMW NA gave people in NA a car they had in Europe for years they might sell a few more 320s. Same nonsense went on for years with the Ford Focus. Europe got the popular sport version. NA got 'plain jane' until the ST. Anyway, the 320i Sport kept me out of the GTI. No regrets in buying one.

Did the tune change your mileage at all? I'm thinking about getting a stage 1 as well, but I usually baby it and try to get the most mpg I can squeeze out of it.

Jay, really not sure. I'd say I am definitely harder on it now having a bit more fun. Gas mileage reflects that. Based on instant read out I think it's the same.
