6 weeks is about the norm really, not considering Christmas or factory being shut etc. So sounds about right, if not a bit on the low side...

Looks great

The matt coral red trim line is actually really nice, it has a metallic finish and is sort of rubbery, definitely looks much nicer than pics would suggest; you can't get it for the M Sports but I've ordered the trim separately for my dealer to fit for delivery, thought it would go well with the coral seats

Brushed alu actually; I have the hexagon in my 135i; fancied a change, and also the brushed alu in the F30 is much nicer than it was in the E90/E92 (which my 335d was and I didn't particularly like), it has more texture with the lines running through it etc.

You're quite right. In those pics and on the BMW configurator it looks bright red. In fact it's much more subtle with a kind of brushed finish.

Certainly does. I'm so glad I didn't spec it. A bit of a clean today has left very fine scratches.

A little update.

Still on track for week 6 (end of January/beginning of February) at the dealer. I had an email the other day informing me it was at the 'port of exit'.

Starting to get a little excited now

Hi folks.

1st time poster & soon to be BMW owner.

About to complete the deal on a F30 328i M Sport.
Got a bit of a dilemma though. Can't decide on the colour though.
Since i started to look at the F30, i have always fancied the Melbourne Red.
After viewing various posts, some of the other colours are becoming more attractive. Estoril Blue & Mineral Grey.
Never noticed a poll on these forms on the most popular choice of colour.
