That could be what some say, but I wanted mine as well as my former ordered Bimmers to come from Bavaria. Plus I toured the Munich factory and it has a warm place in my heart

I dont really mind where my car built at. As long as it wouldn't give me any problems, then I am a happy camper.

It still takes 5-7days to transfer ur car to the port, and 10-15days waiting for a ship at the port of exsit. Mine just got loaded on a boat today after 10 days wait at port. Now I am start counting down the 45 days.

That might be the same boat urs will be on. My car will arrive at CA dock at 12/11. I guess I am picking it up on Chrismas.

No, I don't think its @ port yet and I honestly I do not know. I'm tracking it through the BMWUSA website so yeah. It just says finished production and that was a few days ago. However, I bet we'll be on the same boat. Would be cool if we got our cars the same day or something lol.

Mine was already loaded on the boat and left at port yesterday. Call 1800# it should tell you that your car is released to a carrier to the port.

First, have your production# ready on ur hand, and then dial 1800-831-1117
Press # 2 for production Status, say or enter production#, then it will give u the status of ur car.

Thanks and the automated system says "transferring to port and status #193 from a representative". A few steps behind you lol. The guy also said to contact my advisor about boat information. I see him on Halloween so I will probably get the information then. Hope everything goes well.

I am not sure about that. I guess normally they do drive it on and off the boat. No way for them to place all the cars on a cargo boat without driving it.

Should be less than 20 miles. I guess your car will be at CA by the end of Dec. Did you ask your CA about the pass due incentives?? Are you able to carry this years discount to next year if your car didn't get arrived before 12/31/12?
