A bit late now, but it's the first chance I've had in a few days

An EBII in the centre of Bristol, in the vicinity of Temple Meads station. Heading in the opposite direction to me so I didn't have time to check the spec etc but it was about midday.

Then a liquid blue F31 in Chepstow main car park, that was Thursday afternoon, about 3pm.

Almost too many others to mention in the last week. It seems everyone has decided to go for a drive in their F30/F31s lately around here

I suspect it's more like they're getting delivered now!

White M-Sport following us up the M1 between j14-15 yesterday lunchtime, made me wish I had gone white.

Also saw a white M-Sport a few weeks back on the M6 heading north which had the privacy glass, 19" wheels and boot spoiler...looked cracking

The single exhaust gave the game away it wasn't a 6 cylinder model though even though the badges were off

Saw an EBII F31 at Clwb Chwaraeon Madog in Porthmadog on 31 May (for the Scott May Stunt Show).

Beautiful looking car with 19" wheels, sun protection glass and what looked to be the sensor for adaptive cruise control - very nice indeed!!

I've seen loads of F30/31s around Notts, but only 1 (yesterday) with xenons - white F30 sport in Newark.
That makes 2 of us in Notts with xenons.

When I was looking to purchase mine (nearly new) all the cars I was looking at that were in my budget didn't have xenons. As I have never had them before I don't miss them either.

Having had Xenon's on two of my last three cars I really miss them if I haven't got them - it's as if the lights aren't working properly. Plus IMO the daytime running lights on non-Xenon cars look naff.

The standard fit Halogen bulbs appear to have a particularly poor output - someone suggested that it was to improve the bulb life. I replaced my bulbs with a set Philips H7 X-Treme Vision 100% - £20 from Amazon. These are road legal, but give a vastly improved light output.

My original preference was Xenon's, but the deal on my F30 was too good to turn down. The Philips bulbs have meant that I don't miss the Xenons so much, although I do wish BMW hadn't been so cheap and removed the angel eyes which were fitted to the E90 LCI's even with Halogens!

I replaced the stock bulbs in my e61 with some Philips ones. Much better. Although a mate swears by the nightbreakers.

What I really don't get is that the lci e6x has the halogen ring style lights but they have opted for pretty lame standards for the f3x.

On my way home from work today I saw 15 F30s, none in EBII, but all the other colours. No 330ds, one 328i Lux, one 320i Lux, the rest 320ds in a mixture of M Sport and Sport.

They all looked gorgeous.

Common as muck, though!

Not far from my neck of the woods

I think there are 3 white F30s I see fairly regularly around Chepstow. Two are Sports and the other an M Sport.

Helpful aren't I?
