I love sporty and aggressive look, so it has to be black.

Black grilles. No other chrome on the car apart from exhaust tips.
Chrome belongs on the luxury model.
Black grilled suit any colour in my opinion.
Your choice though.

I've changed them on my f36, my wife hasn't even noticed. Or the boot spoiler!

After they arrived but before I fitted them I thought I'd made a mistake in buying them. Very happy with them after I fitted them though, I think they look great on a black car...

I had a similar thought process when doing my grilles, car is BSM as well. The problem i had was that the gloss grilles I had seen didn't look just right, better than chrome however. The all matt ones didn't appeal because others had had issues with them 'flaking' So I came up with this:

Bought a cheap pair of matt grilles and swapped out the matt slat inserts for the black ones that came with the car. Maybe not every bodies cup of tea, but for me it works

Did think about all black on my BSM car and did like the stealthy looking shits folks put up.

Stuck with chrome simply because they stand out more and sort of link the headlights

Did go for the double slat versions on mine though.

i had the same dilemma,
originally i was happy with the chrome for the contrast...
but after thinking on it for a while, i think the black really modernises the look.
so i took the plunge and got a set of oem gloss black grilles.
they go really well with the 442M's, love them now
before and after pics

I think the black looks more sporty but the chrome blends in with the headlights nicely. Would be nice to see a black chrome version!

Chrome! I think that the chrome seems to flow into the headlights better. I don't like the look of where black grilles meet the headlights and there is a distinct change of colour.

Black grilles! Had them on my E93, so had them sat waiting for when I collected my F33 a couple of months ago.

Chrome. Class, rather than 'try hard'.
