This area of Spain is incredibly scenic with tip-top country roads. Apparently, real-estate is dirt cheap in this area compared to Cote De Azure region (southern coastline) of France. Hmm...I know where I'd like to retire

Germany: $140 France: $120-$160 Spain: $100-$110 Average mpg I got was around 11-12 km/l which is around 26-28 mpg. This is with aggressive driving in sport mode in the mountains, coasting in comfort mode on highways at ~ 90mph and lots of city driving. I'd say 20/40/40 mountain/city/highway split. I think we got 30mpg on the highway when driving from Munich to Barcelona. |

Your pictures look beautiful, especially those from Spain! I hope you post some pictures from Barcelona. Your car also looks great, even though Mineral Grey is not my favorite color. Any comments about the car - how it drives, how it feels, etc.? BTW, reading about this EDs seriously makes me want to do an ED when I order mine (in hopefully less than 2 years). I haven't been in Europe in 12 years (I'm originally from Eastern Europe) and specifically I've never been to Spain. I definitely want to visit Spain/Barcelona and that desire would perhaps convince me to order my car as ED (with the savings I can make a nice Euro vacation out of it) |

I'll write up a review on one of the days. It was amazing, I can tell you that now. Sport mode changes everything...only a button press away. You should do ED if possible...it is an amazing experience, really. Quote:

Can't wait to get the Velvia film rolls to be developed! I also took videos while driving on the GoPro Hero2 camera. I need to edit them and will post it soon Last edited by npgatech; 03-12-2012 at 08:57 AM.. |

Great trip! How was the drop-off in Nice? I have family in Antibes as well and am hoping to do ED this summer with the final drop-off in Nice. Does it add significantly to the deliver time?
Thanks, Neil |

Stunning pictures my friend. As mentioned earlier, I really love seeing these pics of Mineral Grey F30s....Makes me know that our choice of Mineral Grey for our F30 was a great choice! Again, fantastic pics and thanks for sharing with your ED with us!

Here is what I got from Amazon: Link They claim that they use the same circuit as OEM cable, but for me, it didn't work properly and I returned it last week. I am going to shop around on eBay for this stupid cable now |

Seriously? I bought the nav package as well and would be super stoked if the iPod cable works... But I doubt it.

If you have the nav package, then you don't need the y-cable; the standard Apple iPod/iPhone cable will work. I, too, bought a cable on Amazon that didn't work; ended up getting a real BMW OEM y-cable from eBay.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong. This is what my experience was. The amazon cable did work, but it kept on disconnecting intermittently. |

Film pictures...really didn't get time to shoot. We were busy having too much fun! Sorry for a late response but I finally got around to scanning all the film. The results are nothing short of crap, but I'll post them here anyway.

Your film shots are less crappy than you say man!
Definitely a genuine retro feel... if it wasn't for your F30 being on the photos, those pics could pass by for being taken last century... I enjoy them more than you think, so feel free if you have more... Awaiting for your GoPro video montage I have a few myself, but i dont know how to put them together
