Went to the dealership and purchased a quart of oil and a gallon of coolant to keep handy just in case

Discovered that I'm low on coolant. Level is below the MIN mark in the reservoir.

Attached is the coolant I bought. Can I mix with mine? There's no designation of what type of coolant it is. I havent opened it in case I need to exchange it.

I wasn't even sure of the color in the reservoir it was too dark.

The invoice shows PN: 83-51-9-415-964

I read somewhere that they changed the coolant from blue to green or vice versa after a certain year? Dunno.

Production date of my car is Jan 30 2018 if that matters.

I think 2019 is the cut off, but you can mix both since yours would have come from the factory with blue.

BMW doesn't want you filling with blue if it came from the factory with green.
