Coating wheel hubs?

Has anyone tried to coat the wheel hubs with any zinc based paint or with a galvanized zinc paint?

I have a can of ZG-90 Cold Zinc and another of ZG-90 Anti-rust paint (black). Has anyone used a similar product to ensure the surface rust never returns?

I have used Hammerite Smooth in silver on hubs with surface rust with great results, it copes with excessive heat really well.
See if the paints you have give any info about heat tolerance.
