Help with removing scratch marks
Woke up this morning and went out to grab something from the car and saw that my hood had scratch marks and claw marks all over the lower region. There's a couple deep scratches but there's a lot of minor scratches as well. I tried taking a picture but it's hard to capture. I used some scratch X 2.0 and it helped, but only to a certain bit (and it seems that using it added more swirl marks too). I'm assuming for the deeper scratches I'll need to buy the touch up paint stick. Any other recommendations?

So confession time. I'm a busy guy with a family and I, ahem, sometimes take my car through the local automatic full service wash. Comes out clean inside and out and looks great. Well you pay a price. Namely the integrity of your paint. I know. Long story. But I've had great luck with using Meguiars SWIRL X. Followed by their lightest compound. I can't recall the name. It's like 204 or something. But you need to work them in. Obviously, you are removing a few mils of paint every time you correct it. So this isn't a freebie solution either. Watch Meguiars tutorials.
