Coding Helping Non Xenon To Xenon
Good Afternoon,
I want to go from non xenon to xenon in my 2013 328i getting the parts is not hard but I would imagine I would need to code the xenon to have it work properly correct ? Any help or advise will go a long way. |

There are various settings in the FEM module that relate to Xenon headlight settings, such as the drivers for the vertical and horizontal levelling and much more.
I would compare your file to one set up for Xenons first then explore getting the parts. Note there are non adaptive xenons and standard xenons which are different parts. |

ooo, exactly what was on my mind! I was planning on renting an F30 for the day to map the parts and connections needed for Non-coded Xenons (piggyback of the halogen wiring and just sort out the power required for xenons). But like demge01 said, I may also clone/look at the loaners code if its easier.

i have all the stuff with me now.I need correct wiring guidance because i think the halogen connector wires dont match up with xenon connector as i am able to light up the xenons but drls(angel eyes) and side indicator bulb dont lit up.I am not sure if it has anything to do with the coding stuff but i personally think only issue is wiring ,coding will come into play for errors when all lights lit up

I could be simplifying things, but having success in doing vehicle option coding, one should be able to use this method to also code in the new option without necessarily meddle at each line/code, option 522 for xenon

i dont care about the self levelling option and also it is not mandatory in india so least concerned about it.at this point of time the most important thing i need to know is which wire goes where in the xenon connector so if anyone knows it will be greatly appreciated
