Have you much experience of diesel fumes in confined space ?

I have, it does not take much on a 2 hour drive or so to impact on some people.

Yes diesel produces very little CO due to how engine works, however I have seen the impact of reactions or alertness following exposure to exhaust gases.

From an engineering point of view, it's making sure this type of issue is captured and reported by BMW to prevent reoccurrence.

Anyone working on a vehicle of any description is responsible (culpable) for issues arising from their work.
