Indepedent Specialist Bristol
I had a quote from Dick Lovett for the large service on my F32 435i and it was £835.00. This is the service which includes sparks plugs.
Working from home I no longer do a lot of miles, and I do my own annual oil change when it's not being serviced. I need a specialist around Bristol (any recommendations) who can do the large service, as the BMW cost is just excessive (I feel)! |

Redish Automotive, based in Bishopsworth. Honestly these guys are amazing but they do have a long waiting list. Check out their work on Instagram and FB. They also have a website.

No idea how good they are, but the Mini R56 that I owned had been seen by Mill Lane Automotive (BMW & Mini specialists) in Warmsley Bristol.
They seemed helpful over the telephone when I enquired about the work they had carried out on the Mini, so could be worth a try. https://www.milllaneautomotive.co.uk/ |

There is Clayton Cars
https://www.claytoncars.co.uk/ I have used them previously but last time I called them there wasnt much difference in the cost of a brake fluid service between them and Dick Lovett. But worth a call.... |

If you're prepared to venture Swindon way, Auto Works just outside Wootton Bassett are bloody amazing. Run by a few fellas who used to work for Dick Lovett.
Had all my servicing done there and I've never had an issue. The lads are absolute BMW fanatics and have solved a fair few issues for me! https://www.autoworksservices.co.uk/ |

I’m local-ish to these and was less than impressed at Lovetts last time around, but must have the history updating. Thanks |

I recommended Redish in Bristol earlier as that's who I took mine to when I lived there. Now I live in Chippenham and have been using Autoworks for the last 4 years. They are brilliant also - fully authorised by BMW for warranty work etc., and yes, they update the online and iDrive records too.

Really late reply, sorry! As above really... Cannot fault auto works. I asked them to do a coolant flush for me last service and they point blank refused after testing the coolant - told me they'd be taking money for nothing and that they weren't in the business of ripping people off. I've a lot of time for that!

Their main business is the rebuilding of E46 M3 undersides from scratch. They would be more than capable and willing to do anything you ask them to. Honestly these guys are excellent.

+1 for Redish Motorsport. Incredible attention to detail and work ethic. Vast knowledge, extremely capable and if you like thumping rave/house music, tune into some of their earlier YouTube videos!
They are mainly vlog/progress videos for customers, but he (James Redish) uploads them for general interest. |
