Style 193 on F30 ??

I have a staggered set up on my E91 and I keep reading that you cant get the rims to work with the new F30... Then I read some people have done it...

What do I need to do to get my current rims to work on a new F30?

To try it and see for yourself.

I had e90 wheels and have asked numerous times on this forum and did not get any concrete answer.

So best answer is to find it yourself. I installed the wheels and the front was ok, the back was so out that it looked hideous. If I lowered the car, my whole rear fender would have been destroyed.

Had 265/35/18 on 18x8.5 et33

So the true answer lies on your own test fitment

i'm wondering as well but using the tire fit guides, it looks to be fine as long as you don't go aggressively wide like 255+

not sure how it looks though since it sticks out 1cm more...

225/40 square fits for sure

There's a thread on here somewhere detailing the various e90 OEM wheel fitment on the F30. The short answer is yes, they will fit, but the offset on the rear (staggered) wheels may be on the aggressive side, so you may want spacers up front to balance it out. Then when you put your F30 OEMs back on, if you leave the spacers up front, you will probably want them in the back also to make it look flush.

I am planning to use my 193s as my winter set-up also. I will probably try throwing them on just to see how they look once i get my car and I will take pics/report back if no one else has tried it before then.

I think this is right. 255 will work, but thats as wide as you can go probably. In my case (and probably a lot of people considering this as a winter set-up) I will have 225s all around but with the staggered rims, which should be fine.

Did you ever mount 193's on your f30? I'm considering picking up a set, but am unsure about what size tires to get and if offsets will work (and look nice) without spacers on a 335i xdrive.

Style 193 wheels will fit F30 aswell!

F: 8x18", ET34
R: 8.5x18", ET37

The front has the same spec as 18" M 400 (M Sport wheels) and the rear will look like a 10mm spacer (M 400 rear has ET47).

You will need to upsize the tires compared to E90. Since you have Xdrive choose OEM F30 size.

F: 225/45-18
R: 255/40-18

I'm going to be test fitting mine tonight (they are calling for snow next week!?). I'll take some pictures. For the record I am just using the tires from my e90 which will result in my spedo being off by 5+ mph (high), but I will just deal with that for the winter.

Not sure if this question is still out there but this will confirm that the 193s (and the plethora of other OEM wheels with the same offset/size) fit the F30

someone said above that this will cause the odometer to read extra mileage by using e90 sized tires (40 series profile instead of 45). My question is how many extra miles will it read? My car is a lease so obviously this will have some impact, just trying to get a feel percentage wise how many lease miles i am losing.

This looks awesome!!! I can't believe so many people use the #193 as winter setups it would look awesome as a summer setup also.
Question could I put my stock tires (225/45/18) from my 2014 328i Xdrive on the rears 19 x 8.5 or do I need to get the size recommended above 255/40/18?

Question shouldn't the rear size be 245/40/18 if you're going to run OEM F30 tire size on the front?

Both 225/45-18 and 255/40-18 are OEM for F30, 245/40-18 is 1% short.
