Which is defined by a number of very simplistic rules... company mobile and laptop? shows employee. company email - likewise. Manage staff who are employed - ditto.

Ultimately what they want you to show is you have some risk of failure like a "real" business and you arent doing a job ordinarily done by an employee....

As for the M3, not sure it would be on my list given your usage / where it must get left, but I think a decent deposit and buying is a good idea if you think you will keep it. If you will want out when the nxt shiny new toy comes along or if family circumstances change, they maybe a PCP would be a better bet.

And as said later models have had tweaks so worth seeking one of them out...

That car is actually my old M3 (assuming you are talking about Sheffield Sytner).

Ok, an interesting day today. I went to look at a 6 month old San Marino blue m3 cp today. The car looked stunning so we started to thrash out a deal which at the close of play stood at 10k in 650/m on 12k miles, covering the 4k neg on my car. this wasn't quite at the manic number and the Apr was at 6.9%. so all in all not a horrendous deal but still not quite what I was hoping for. Just as I was leaving however, the salesman says they have a brand new car, same spec wlbut with the full m carbon pack which he says he thinks he can do for the same numbers so 10k in, 650/m over 12k miles and this also includes the first years road tax. This now becomes very interesting indeed, I think as we are nearing the quarter end we're getting closer.

I found a dealer who has stock pre-reg cars for just over £50k, with 200 miles on the clock and still offering 3.9% APR.

Are you able to share which dealer please?

They are high - thats just off the configurator to show the OP how crap the deal he was being offered is

Your deal is roughly the same as mine give or take a few quid. Mine was £73120 list including the Carbon pack and for 12k miles per year is £603 with £10k in. Over 4 years too.

.
So I think the new deal is similar to this now.

update - I've put the deposit down went new in the end as the deals were better than buying used in the end.

m3 cp in San Marino blue, full interior and exterior carbon, hud, Harmon kardon yada yada.

This really is a dream come true, sure I said that about the 340 which is still a fantastic car, but growing up there were 2 cars which were the dream cars - m3 and a Ferrari. So that's one of those ticked off

Congratulations, fantastic that a boyhood dream is being realised!

Spec sounds excellent and there isn't a better M colour out there than YMB. Enjoy it!

Good catch sorry Stefan. Is San Marino the colour that Daftasabrush has? Also gorgeous!

no, it's from Grimsby where I got my 340i. The car is in the UK so should be at the dealers by the end of the week, early next week, but we're away a week on Sunday so I may have to push collection back into July.

ah, the good old east coast. reckon they sell most of their cars to people from away - both of my Audi's are from Audi Hull, going back up there on 30th to pick up an A3 for a friend, and had my VW Golf GTi PP from Grimsby...

Good luck with car and pick up - looking forward to pictures. And will keep an eye out for you next time I am heading from Chesterfield to Hemel on a Sunday eve...

so it's got to that nervous 'wtf are you doing' stage! just got the paper work through and the numbers are there in black and white. It's truely crazy to spend this much on a car, on the other hand 0% is nice.

But, having said all that, YOLO, work hard play hard this is a dream car for me so, despite my usual WTF moment I can't wait to get this car!

off on holiday for 10 days then I'll be picking up the beast when I get back.
