Let see the custom exhaust. My evo had a custom stealth exhaust at the fraction of your mainstream exhaust systems with more gains and less bling bling. Cops would say i had to change my exhaust on the stocker and wouldnt say anything about the stealth. Lol.

Sorry but springs arent helping muxh but for looks!!

I am going to do a custom quad tip exhaust. I ordered all the pipping, hopefully in 2 weeks you guys will see.

Removing the muffler and adding a 3inch y pipe to a 3inch straight pipe into tips. Should sound deff louder cause of my 4inch downpipe. Good thing i am keeping the stock resonator. I hope it sounds good.

Well after putting the car up on the lift and going over my options with my local exhaust guy, I've decided to shelve my plans for a custom system and will be doing the magnaflow cat-back instead. The magnaflow is already on order and is supposed to be here by Thursday, so that will be going on first thing Saturday morning. Of course I'll take pics and vids of the magnaflow system for everyone when it goes on the car.

Wait so you going to just take the muffler out and replace it with a magna flow?

What are the benefits of quad tip/pipe? On S2000 (another I4 engine) turbo setups a single pipe produces the best performance but drones at resonant frequencies. Dual pipe setups are tuned to mitigate this drone. Is there a benefit to quad in the N20 or is it purely cosmetic? The 1 series M coupe is only dual pipe correct? Is there a benefit to quad on the other M vehicles (more cylinders)?

I looked up the stock exhaust setups on RealOEM.com:

The E9x 335i is dual muffler.

The 135i is single pipe, single muffler, dual tips.

F3x 328i is single pipe, single muffler, dual tips.

The F3x 335i is single pipe, single muffler, dual tips.

The 1-series M Coupe is single pipe, single muffler, quad tips.

All other M vehicles appear to be dual muffler, quad tips. The E9x M3 performance exhaust:

The S2000 is dual muffler.

I guess there is no such thing as quad muffler. I'm assuming the tips are purely cosmetic.
