Having owned both cars I don't know what your talking about. Interior build quality in my e82 was just as good as my e90 or e92, IMO

Where is the iDrive screen? It almost appears that they put fake vents and trim over the iDrive screen. This makes me think that the interior, specifically the vents, are probably not production.

I still believe E90 LCI sedan looks much better inside and out, which is kinda similar opinion i had when i thouhght E46 ZHP sedan looked better when the first E90 325 came out.

but ONE thing i finally like is that BMW finally made some' proper center console where we can put sxxx in....

The F30 sedan will have its public autoshow debut next March (@ 2012 Geneva show) and be on sale shortly thereafter in Europe, and be on sale in the US in the spring/summer of 2012.

Neither do I. This steering wheel is quite good for X3 but 3er chould get more sophisticated and sporty steering wheel design I think.

I just hope that this interior has mainly nothing common with the production version. Year ago we've seen F30 with 1er interior details, there were a lot of disapointments )))
I guess that this time as well we have no picture of the real interior (except of some separate small details) - this time again the mule is pictured with the use of other models parts, imho.
F30 exterior is great, and regarding interior - we should wait )) I hope that the steering (at least M) will be perfect ))

Mass Production of these features such as Head-up display will mean BMW can offer the 3er the option more cost effectively. The 1er will also share this technology usually earmarked for the premium luxury market, again stressing it's importance as a segment that will deliver more growth within this decade alongside the 3er in the Premium Compact segment.
HUD in the next 3! That's huge news.. awesome!!

As far as auto stop/start, I'm sure this will be standard to raise fuel economy across the line. Not something I am particularly interested in, but I understand.

For the lane change system, I hope it's optional. It looks expensive and to me wouldn't hold much appeal. I'm sure a great many would want it though.

Thanks for the info OP and Scott.
