It seems to have been added in 48.x, but not for the F10. Is there an actual "M Performance" option on the F30 that this eye candy goes along with?

Thanks for clarifying.

Anyone have a picture of this connection?

Ok. That makes sense then. With a M135i, it is probably set to mpm by default.

Yes, 8xx are the country controllers. I doubt there are much impact apart from some items that are mandatory by law (e.g. belt reminders, warning screens etc.) where they'll get disabled.
No, there doesn't seem to be one for US.

anybody knows the code to disable the seat belt chime?

I did fdl coding using the cheat sheet, but it still continue to chime...

3000 Ausstattungsflags SeatBeltReminder_SBR_Fahrer

Found another cheatsheet, but couldn't find the option in ACSM 3000:
3000 SBR_FA_GWF_SBR_FA
3000 SBR_BF_GWF_SBR_BF

What did I do wrongly?

You list only the Driver's side.

For F30 you should code both of these:

SeatBeltReminder_SBR_Fahrer (Driver)
SeatBeltReminder_SBR_Beifahrer (Passenger)

Double check that both are set to nicht_aktiv.

This won't disable the short initial Gong on starup though, just the persistent one.

In your FA (VO) along with all your other option codes, listed under SALAPA-Element.

Ok. It is the 8Lx ones (not the 81x ones I listed). It seems for U.S., Europe, and Malaysia (VIN's I knew and could check), there are no Country Controller codes, but here is what is available, and known to me:

S8L1A
S8LBA
S8LFA
S8LHA = Hong Kong
S8LMA
S8LRA = Russia
S8LSA
S8LTA

If anyone has any of the unidentified ones, please advise what code you have and what country you are in.

Thanks!

Thanks Shawn, our market doesn't value life of passenger, so all passenger options are off by default.

Haha...your spouse may disagree.

So did you get it working, or in this case not working as desired?

If that didn't work, you can try it the BMW way using K-Words in your FA.

For the combination of L7 Entry + 6NK/NL, the BT hardware is not present in the headunit as a combox is present, hence a different HU p/n is present.
This has never been clear to me, but is 606 Business Nav an option on the F30 in some markets, and if so, is Head Unit considered a CIC?

I code it for my frens, I refuse to code the chime on my ride as I want to make sure everyone buckle up I'll ask him to monitor though. I think the chime we heard could be as you described, the initial one and not the persistent one.

@Shawn, what would we do without your knowledeg

just to doublecheck:
Salapa Elements are my Loaded Extra in the car? right?

Does this mean I can add as "example" the extended BT:
I add to the below textfield (with the numbers the big one) : 6NL ???

and then all values are set for this, which I have done manually?

I don't know on the F30, but for the F10, the initial Gong can be coded on or off in the same section of ACSM / 3000 via:

Initialwarnung_GWF_IW

In your case then, since you like the Gongs, you can enable the passenger one.

A couple things here.

1) Your SALAPA-Element's are your vehicle's unique option codes (e.g. 205 Automatic Transmission, 609 Navigation Professional, 2VL Sport Steering, etc,)

2) You cant add or code anything "on" that requires hardware you physically do not have, whether through FA (VO) Coding or FDL Coding.

3) You can accomplish everything via FDL Coding if you know what you are doing, although it can be more tedious when there are many changes required. But for instances where you don't fully know all the required FDL Codes to enable a feature, or for ease, if you have the required hardware, you can alter your VO Option Codes, and then VO Code a module(s), which will code the entire module, all at once, making all the FDL changes for you to support every Option Code in your VO.

So for example, removing 6NH from your VO and replacing it with 6NK won't automatically get you Enhanced Bluetooth functionality unless you physically also have a Combox.
