How do I know if JB4 is working properly?

Hey guys

I have JB4 installed on my F30 328i. Pretty confident installation is correct. Plugged in my laptop to make sure I can cycle Map 1 and Map 0 properly. Driving around town and doing a few runs on an empty strip of road, I can't tell the difference.

How do I know if JB4 is working properly without actually putting it on a dyno machine?

Thanks

if you ahve your laptop plugged in then floor it and see what your max boost pressure is
if the graph shows higher boost than stock numbers then its working

Also did you wait until temperature was over 160? Tune won't kick in until car has warmed up. And make sure you are in Map 1

You will not hit full boos free-revving in park or neutral, so no.

Ok. Finally got some runs sport mode with M3, but keeps getting kick down to M2. Boost is 18-21psi; highest was 20.9 actually. Sounds about right? Also, how do I keep it from getting kicked down to 2nd? Thanks

92 fuel
got up to 65mph...then ran out of road...and balls.

graph will only start when there is at least 1 psi of boost (according to BMS)

if you dont want it to kick down don't floor it.
if you floor it and the car can sense that it CAN kick down without redlining it will do so.

I did floor it from standing still position with m3. I think i can conclude that my JB4 is working as should since it is supposed to be around 21psi.

And now if BMS can just hurry up and figure out in dash map selection so i don't have to guess which map i'm in anymore.

Thanks all

no vids of my car
but ACCORDING to the JB4 app that i bought for android when im in map 0 (JB4 off) my 0-60 is 5.7 - 6.1 seconds
but with JB4 in map 1 i get 5.1 - 5.3 seconds.
I don't know how accurate these numbers are cause the app bases the speed off of GPS. but i did 6 - 8 runs on the same stretch of road on the same day and those were my results.

+1 i cant wait for in dash map changing.
but if you buy the JB4 app it is significantly better than having a laptop with you at all times to change maps and graph things out.
