I have the valet lock on my car and I can tell you it's easy to circumvent as most cars I believe have the pass through that can't be locked. You can simply reach in and pull the lever to lower the rear seats and even pull the emergency trunk release to open the trunk with the valet lock engaged and the glove compartment locked, so retrofitting is of no use unless you can fabricate a lock for the center pass through that works with the metal key in the fob that locks the glove box.
