curb rash on 403M Style Wheels
has anyone had any problems when the shop tried to match the color, they fixed the curb rash but they cant get to match the wheel color, its been at the shop for few days and they still cant match color as its a two tone wheel.

Ok, this must be quite subtle, couldn't see anything from the pics. My 400M are 2 tone as well but this was not advertised. No wait it's brake dust...

As far as I can tell, the face is machined. Usually it takes a special machine, like a lathe for instance, to achieve a finish like that. Most shops probably won't have what it takes to replicate that finish again.

The 403m is a diamond cut wheel. The outer face is machined and lacquered not painted. A lot of people opt to refurbish the four wheels and opt for a painted finish.

So they machined it too much and couldnt put the centrr cap on, so they replaced the wheel and gave me that wheel back, its fine just machined down little too much, i am wondering if i can sell it now?

Your never gonna get the same match. You will pretty much have to just see how livable it is. But you must expect to see a fair amount of difference compared to the oem paint

Dunno, but 65 - 75% of MSRP should be a good price, figuring that almost pristine ones will sell for 40-50% MSRP, since almost no one buy MSRP.
But may I suggest full disclosure on the ad ?
