Ouch! I've just collected my car from a service and they said I had a another puncture (had one last time it was serviced) but they managed to repair it thankfully as the service was £900 and the cat has cost £1100 this week so I could do without spending another £250 on a tyre.

God knows how long I'd been driving around with it.

How many miles have you done? They rommend changing both tyres on an axle with awd if anything more than moderately worn..

Brother had bulge on side wall, dealer collected car for a service & ended up fitting a new tyre free as the driver missed it on the inspection walk around, obviously brother kept quiet

A bit but not sitting on the wall yet. Screw is on the outside edge so zero chance of repair.

Ahh it's gone through then .. bummer. Was gunna say ., if it's not losing pressure try some soapy water round the area with screw in and see if there's any boubles, if not drive to tyre fitter park up outside and remove it and hope for the best

I took alloy and tyre insurance this time, £500 seems good value as long as I make 3 or 4 claims.

Sorry to see this OP, one of those things.

I think I'll take it out after this. At 300 quid per tyre I reckon I'll get my money's worth.

My mate took this out when he bought his Q5 and he has genuinely had his money’s worth out of it.
