All Season tire recommendation

Looking for a good all season tire suggestion with good grip on dry even on a track and decent grip in wet/cold. Is there such a thing?

although some people have run all-season on track, to me all-season and track do not belong in the same sentence.

the best all season for wet/dry grip is the michelin pilot sport A/S 3+ and is the one i've seen some peeps try on the track.

'm sure some have tried other brands and models of all seasons but the tread pattern and tire compound is basically not meant for tracking. you'll shred an all-season tire up pretty quick on a track.

the unfortunate part is on TR 235/40/19, 265/35/19 have only 6 max perf summers avail. i haven't checked if there are other brands not on TR with this size combo in a/s. are you thinking of running oem size? or a different size combo?

or you might have to run taller, 245/40/19, 275/35/19, 26.7", 26.6", 0.4% for x-drive. pirelli pzero as+

You wont find better than Conti DWS 06 in the all season category.

Is it better to have a square setup for XDrive or something like 225 front and 245 rear?

Unless navigating through deep snow is a seasonal duty, staggered tires are just fine. With xDrive drivetrain and warranty still in effect, I suggest to follow OEM staggered tire sizes.

ah. you are right. i dont think id want to run any taller than 26.3 now. the new alignment machine at my dealer cant even align these because they cant fully clock the front wheels without hitting because of clearance. i guess we'll have to hope for better sizing in a year or two when the tires need replacing
