don't know how you guys who factory order can bear it.

I bought a '13 off the lot but from another city....waited a few days...took too long, went on vacation for 3 weeks.

get back, car's there, pick up, get the flu and am in bed for 3 days. Get better and drive for a few days but then I wanted MPS installed and dealer said parts are ready for the install. another week at the dealer and driving a loaner. Mix up at BMW parts and it didn't even get installed. Dealer says 1-3 more weeks before parts come together to install.

decided to add some audio...another few days with a rental (Kia Forte) and I'm just itching to drive my car.

currently have 600km on the car, 575 on the X1 loaner and another 100Km on the Kia Forte in the past month.

all I know is waiting makes me surf the web for information and plan more mods. I'm trying really hard to resist adding the m-sport body kit, MP brakes, MPE and MP interior bits. it goes against my original plans for this car. I'm not a patient guy, hence getting the audio, MPS and tire mods all done within weeks of getting the car. It's quite disheartening to watch the audio guys tear apart your new car.

You said it! I ordered my 328d two days before Thanksgiving and tracked its voyage on the Turandot all the way to the NJ VPC last week. I will finally pick it up next week at the dealer; its been a long wait... but eventually the day comes and I'm getting exactly what I wanted :-) but then, like you I am adding some extras... Xpel PPF and Opti-Coat Pro... so it's going to be in the shop another couple days :-(
