He should have put the pedal to the metal @ 3:32 not at 3:34 to get a better slide, this is nothing. Man.
Anyway, normally Wouter is presenting this autoblog.nl show. But this guy is also quite a clown. Wouter if you're reading this:You know me, mate. Props to the new guy. Cheers Robin |

Thats a neat little gadget. They outfitted a sensor under the bumper so you can open the trunk when your hands are full! Hope it works better than they showed in the video though...

I thought the trunk sensor is activated by a foot wave, more like right to left, rather than a kick, which made him look like a chicken trying to pop the trunk?

At the launch they told us to kick not to swipe. It worked 9/10 times I did it that way.

I've always wanted to kick my ultimate driving machine when it didn't comply. Now BMW recommends you kick it in the rear to gain access?
Cool. Just don't tell my 5 yr old kid. He'll have his buddies from down the street over in no time flat to explain, " if you *BAM* kick the trunk....it opens! " Cause if I find little shoe prints on my paint I'll have to fill the trunk with shovels and lime for some Edgar Allen Poe s**t. |
