Expected lease payment for LCI?

Hi guys,
I wanted to know what the ballpark of the LCI models will be when they come out for a lease if i was to put down full security deposit on the car? Will it be in the range of $550-600? The reason I'm asking is because my current car is going back within the next 6 months and I would love to get a BMW again but i don't want to pay any more than what i pay now, $500.

There's no reason the LCI will lease any differently than the current car. Lease payments depend on retail price, money factor, residual value and a few other variables. On top of that is your negotiating ability. You are not giving enough info.

The LCI means absolutely nothing.

The price of your lease is based on the terms and pricing of the car you bought, at the time you bought it.

You should do some reading on the forums to understand what goes into that $500 a month you fork over to BMW before buying your next car. I could get you a BMW for $100 a month as long as you're willing to give me $15k down.

As already mentioned, lease will depend on deals, pricing, and incentives at time of sale.

Also, look into doing Multiple Security Deposits, not one. This will adjust the money factor (interest rate) and save you lots of money.

Then you will call the CA, and tell him "This is all that I am willing to spend." The CA will make a deal, or won't. It doesn't matter if its an LCI, or a '14 left over.

I'm planning to put down 7x the monthly payment for the security deposit

What vehicle is being discussed with what options? Not all states allow for multiple security deposits to lower money factors

And you are planning on splitting that into 7 SEPARATE deposits correct? Not one big one?

You can drop your MF to the basement with that AND get all that money back at the end.

So long as that's for a $50K+ BMW for 3 years at 10K/yr...that's actually a smokin deal. But I'll assume you were trying to exaggerate.

As a headsup, I wouldn't expect to get into a 2016 (LCI) until late Summer for regular inventory, but if you want "a deal" you will probably need to wait until late Fall or so. I guess "a deal" is subjective, but for me that's 10-12% below MSRP, ect.

Why do people do security deposits? I don't get it, you tell me that it lowers MF well do you know why it lowers MF? its because they take your money and earn interest on it and give you a small portion of the interest back in a lower MF. However if you understood this then you would just throw your "Deposits" into a ETF and earn 10-15% a year. This gives added flexibility to take out your money too, it makes no logical sense to me from a financial perspective to put down security deposits to lower MF by a tiny amount when you can far higher interest on your money if you simply took it and threw it into investments with a 3-4 year outlook.

Your argument is invalid because no ETF guarantees you that kind of return. 10-15%? You can't be serious.

Further, a stock market cycle lasts on average of about 5 years. If you lease for three right at the beginning of a bear market then your market index ETF will lose money while instead you could be earning a ROI with your MSDs of 9-10% (I forget the actual figure).
