I'm an international student living at Georgia planning to purchase a 2014 328i.

What are the payments that I need to make after a car purchase?

In my country we have to pay sales tax + aquisition tax + etc.

What about in US? Do I only need to pay sales tax? is TAVT(?) included in sales

tax?

Please help so I can set a budget!

My wife and I are about to go to the Performance Center (later today) to pick up her 428i tomorrow.

In Georgia, you have to pay the TAVT (which is 6.75% of the purchase price of the car). lemon law fee and the tag fee. They did away with the sales tax and yearly ad valorem tax and replaced it with the TAVT (Title Ad Valorem Tax).
